Converse x Product (RED)
Product (RED) is The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. When invited to design a Chuck Taylor for the Converse x Product (RED) "1Hund(Red) Artists" series, I wanted to create a concept grounded in purpose rather than just using the canvas for personal artwork. I found inspiration in the Giant Redwood Sequoia, a species whose natural immunity to parasites allows it to live for thousands of years. This became the ultimate metaphor: what if the human body could resist illness with that same natural resilience? The concept was made even more impactful by the fact that one of the largest ancient Sequoias stands in California's Converse Basin Grove, turning a powerful biological metaphor into an undeniable brand connection.

Once my design was selected and approved I worked with Dana Wolfe on the Converse design team to get the concept production ready for a Chuck Taylor and a special make-up Jack Purcell silhouette.
