BEAN SNOWBOARDS
A small startup, "Bean" was pressing handmade snowboards in a storage space in Brighton, MA. With the ethos "Buy local, shred local," they had to have some local artists on the graphic side. A Kickstarter was launched to fund the limited production run of a local artist series.

The graphic was based on a series of Balinese masks I was working on for a solo exhibition, at the time. I hand-painted the graphic on a blank deck for proof of concept, then digitized the graphic for print. On the base, I created custom lettering that read "Bean" in glyphs representative of Balinese Sanskrit. The graphics repeated flipped since the board was a true twin-tip design.

Fresh pressing & fresh pow.
